The PowerTap SL+ features several key elements designed to optimize weight, axle stiffness and overall road performance.  Carbon window cutouts in the hub shell reduce weight, while a 15mm diameter axle significantly improves bending stiffness to deliver professional level hub performance.

The carbon windowed alloy hub shell contains four sealed cartridge bearings for durability. Moisture is kept away from sensitive components, since the electronics are housed completely within the hub shell.

The Joule 2.0 computer has an intuitive and customizable dashboard that displays metrics to see current ride information including power, heart rate, cadence, speed, time and other data, including TrainingPeaks' Training Stress Score (TSS) and Intensity Factor (IF).
